Welcome!

Hear that?  Sounds like sunshine and beautiful weather!  We here at Community Farm Connection cannot WAIT to get going on the spring fruits and veggies.  We are certainly looking forward to another season of supporting local farmers and we hope that you are as well!

We have officially moved into our new location!  Stop in and see us at 10 N Mission St, in Wenatchee. Anyone familiar with the El Mundo building probably will not even begin to recognize it as all the changes our volunteers (led by the amazing and talented Dan Riordan) performed to make the new space into a usable shop that the public can enjoy.

The CSA will be starting up the first week of June.  There is still room for this season's CSA and anyone interested should check out the Farmhouse Table CSA tab soon so that all of you veggie lovers can have something to look forward to this summer!

If you support local food and local farmers and would like to get more involved, you can stop by to talk, volunteer some time, attend an EAT Local meeting or even help us organize some of our volunteer groups.  We need picnic makers for our field work parties or perhaps a group to help with the weeding chores once or twice over the summer.  Financial contributions are welcome and any donations you make are completely tax-deductible and will be used to continue developing programs and ideas that put money back in our farmer's pockets and keep them on their land.  Please drop donations off at the shop or mail to:

Welcome to Community Farm Connection, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports sustainable agriculture, small diversified farms and our communities.

We create opportunities for local farmers, growers and food producers from all over North Central Washington to connect with people who want to buy and eat more locally grown produce and handmade food.

We think volunteers are the heart and soul of most great grass-roots organizations!  Our volunteers have been doing a fantastic job packing up beautiful CSA boxes full of the freshest local produce, keeping an eye on the shop and weighing out strawberries, hazelnuts and spring lettuce.  Here are some pictures of the volunteers in action this summer packing CSA boxes!

If anyone wants to help pack boxes this summer you should contact Mike right away!
