"What's Fresh on the Farmhouse Table" is now available

Unfortunately we are no longer able to send out the 'Fresh Sheets' to chefs, caterers and restaurants every week as our Program Coordinator moved to England.  We can, however, add you to our monthly newsletter "What's Fresh on the Farmhouse Table.  Click here to subscribe.

We will be happy to help connect you and your business directly to regional farms, small producers, artisan cheesemakers, ranchers, orchardists and heirloom grain growers from all around North Central Washington.  Many of these farmers can deliver directly to your restaurant or food business, so please contact us and we'll do our best to connect you and your customers to our talented local farmers.

Call us at (509) 888-3010 or email sherri@communityfarmconnection.com to get on our mailing list.

Check out these additional resources to help you find local farmers:

EAT! is a grassroots group that organizes all kinds of projects like school and community gardens, Farm-to-Table workshops, "EAT Seasonal" calendars and Farm-to-School programs that increase awareness about the importance of buying fresh local produce.  Click here to check out their online directory of local farms or just visit their website at www.eatncw.org.

The Cascade Foothills Farmland Association puts out a great
regional driving map and agricultural tourism directory.  Request an ag tourism driving map free of charge on their website at www.visitwashingtonfarms.com.

Washington State University's Small Farms Team has a great resource on their website to locate farms and farmers markets all over Washington and Oregon.  Check it out here.

Chef Amy Simonson serves up a grilled pizza made with fresh farmers market ingredients.   Chef Tony Davis is now serving these delicious pizzas at Pretiola Natural Bakery at the foot of Fifth Street in Wenatchee.  Stop by for lunch!

Executive Chef Ken MacDonald of Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, examines fresh rhubarb and asparagus with a discerning nose.  Chef Ken especially loves to serve the world-famous fresh asparagus from Quincy grown by T&T Farms in his restaurant Kingfisher Dining Lodge.
