Welcome to Community Farm Connection, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports sustainable agriculture, small diversified farms and our communities.

We create opportunities for local farmers, growers and food producers from all over North Central Washington to connect with people who want to buy and eat more locally grown produce and handmade food.

We think volunteers are the heart and soul of most great grass-roots organizations!  Our volunteers have been doing a fantastic job packing up beautiful CSA boxes full of the freshest local produce, keeping an eye on the shop and weighing out strawberries, hazelnuts and spring lettuce.  Some of our volunteers were even out in the field at Homestead Organic Produce a couple weeks ago helping to transplant hundreds of heirloom tomato plants.  Of course, the picnic of egg-salad sandwiches made with free-range eggs from Sweet William's Farms and the homemade rhubarb tart helped us keep up our strength!

The Farmhouse Table Produce Market is finally open!
Our gentle Grand Opening took place during the last week in May with locally-grown food prepared by Ravenous Catering.  Chef Dave presented a veritable feast featuring a baby beet and goat cheese salad, organic hazelnut and gorgonzola mini quiches, pickled spring radish, beet-green tartlets with prosciutto and a delicious rhubarb, apple and ginger cobbler.  Connie Celustka stopped by with her hammered dulcimer and added to the general festivities with some lively folk music.

The spring produce has finally started coming in from our local farmers.
The cold spring did delay first harvest for a couple of weeks, but now that things are growing, this cool, wet weather is very agreeable to the different varieties of lettuce, spinach, asparagus, beets, green onions, pak choi, broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snap peas and strawberries.

Kim has also stocked the shop with free-range eggs, fresh salsas from Stone Soup, organic local nuts and handmade cheeses from Alpine Lakes cheesemakers Catha & Eric Link.  She soon hopes to get in some cheese from Larkhaven Farm in Tonasket, some local honey, jams and preserves.

Our CSA program is already full for the spring season, but there are a couple spots left for summer and fall.  If you are interested in becoming a CSA subscriber, and want to get a weekly box of the freshest local produce around, download the information from our Farmhouse Table CSA page and drop it by the shop soon.  You can email us with questions at:

If you support local food and local farmers and would like to get more involved, you can stop by to talk, volunteer some time, attend an EAT Local meeting or even help us organize some of our volunteer groups.  We need picnic makers for our field work parties or perhaps a group to help with the weeding chores once or twice over the summer.  Financial contributions are welcome and any donations you make are completely tax-deductible and will be used to continue developing programs and ideas that put money back in our farmer's pockets and keep them on their land.  Please drop donations off at the shop or mail to:
