Farmhouse Table Local Foods Market to Open Soon

Kim is cleaning out the refrigerators and sweeping out the shop at 10 N. Mission Street.  By May, we'll once again be open and full of farm fresh eggs, artisan cheeses, spring produce, honey, grains, salsas, hand-baked bread and goodies, herbs, preserves, jams, sauces and pasture-finished meats and poultry.  Contact Kim at kim@communityfarmconnection.org for more information.

Volunteer Opportunity

Join the gang at Farmhouse Table for a spring cleaning and reorganization day.  We need to make room for the coming season, clean out the equipment, dust the floors and reorganize before the fresh produce starts rolling in again.  We're hoping to paint some 'flying veggies' on the front windows and have a tiny bathroom to decorate if someone can help.  Spring break is March 29 - April 2, and we hope to organize a clean-up day sometime during that week.  Contact Sherri if you would like to help at sherri@communityfarmconnection.org.

2010 CSA Shares Soon Available

Mike is updating all the CSA information and meeting with farmers from around the region to plan this year's Farmhouse Table CSA program.  Look for flyers and information soon in your email inbox or keep checking this website.  Contact mike@communityfarmconnection.org for more information or to reserve your spot now.

Public Market News

Believe it or not, we're just about out of room in our new space on Mission Street and hope to be ready to move into Wenatchee's new Public Market when it opens as tentatively planned in early summer of 2011.  It's a big committment, so let us know what you think about forming a coopertive of some kind to make sure we all have year-round access to the locally grown fruits, vegetables and foods of our region.  Contact sherri@communityfarmconnection.org if you would like to get involved.
