Local Food Fridays at Centennial Park Enjoy the free summer concert series downtown while you feast on delicious grilled pizza and fresh fruit desserts from Chef Tony Davis and Pretiola Natural Bakery. Held every Friday evening through the summer in Wenatchee, sponsored by Caffe Mela, Wenatchee Downtown Association and Parks and Recreation, this is warm summer evening fun for the whole family. Cheese & Bread Festival Swiss-born winemaker, Cameron Fries, brings together the picnic of the year at White Heron Winery with artisan cheeses by Alpine Lakes Sheep Cheese, handmade breads from Vinman's Bakery in Ellensburg, and hand-cured and smoked meats by Cured of Leavenworth available for purchase. Bring along your own picnic supplies and enjoy wine, great food and music overlooking the Columbia Gorge with live reggae-spiced music by Passing Liberty (the cheese maker's band). 5-9pm, $10 at the door for the band.
